Happy New Year
It seems a while since the last posts in the Czech Republic. Its been a busy time since return. On reflection the Worlds were a fantastic event with some excellent flying and some very tricky tasks. The Chaser was excellent and a very efficient machine,the main drawback was that the of all the tasks there was only one that favoured economy. In my old machine I would have achieved half the points I achieved in the Chaser but in other tasks I would have favoured my more familiar stead!. My larger machine and more varied speed range would have been a little more competitive, and I would have had a little more confidence in the Spots. Still Seventh in the World is a good start, I lost a few places with some minor errors and after looking at GPS traces I missed some gates by 1m,20m, and 25 m, such is the margin of sucess!
