All over at Over

The first round of the British nationals took place at the weekend it sunny yet breezy conditions. It was an excellent weekend with me totalling almost 10 hours flying. Robbie Keene the competition organiser set some very challenging tasks which combined almost everything from the task catalogue. I was pleased with my performance (more…)

X Country

After Mondays windy flight went on a short x country to Long Marston yesterday. Good conditions as high pressure starts to dominate. Bit breezy in places and flew a dog leg route to avoid flying over Weston on the Green. Flight time there was just over an hour. Met Simon Baker who won the world championships when they were held at Long Marston in 2003 . The return flight was fantastic with us climbing (more…)

going nowhere fast

with the weather looking to change and desperation setting in I went flying last night, winds were forecast to drop but did not, needless to say progress was slow and just getting to Brill took an age- 25 minutes. The return flight was effortless and took a mere 5 mins. Landing was a little tricky as was taxiing back to the hanger. Lets hope for better weather over the forthcoming easter break.
